Alanna, thanks! The egg...well, besides just being so beautiful to look at, eggs are the basis for so many things...baked goods, pastas, custards, sauces. Plus, they are delicious on their own...and can be cooked in soooo many ways. I just thought the egg was a good all-encompassing food icon. I designed a bacon-based logo, too. We'll see.
